        新陽光的外觀造型與它的大哥天籟有幾分相似，圓潤飽滿的設(shè)計風格也比較符合一款家用車的定位，車頭的進氣格柵采用了日產(chǎn)的家族式臉譜。在車身尺寸方面，陽光在瑪馳的平臺上經(jīng)過了“加大”處理，軸距達到了現(xiàn)款騏達2600mm的水平，保證了其內(nèi)部良好的空間表現(xiàn)。

       陽光的內(nèi)飾風格以圓形和弧線為主，營造出一種輕松、活潑的氛圍。不過還是能夠明顯看到方向盤、中控臺等與瑪馳相似的設(shè)計。中控臺的材質(zhì)主要以硬塑料為主，各部件接縫的處理細致均勻，整體做工達到了日系品牌應(yīng)有的水平。舒適版車型的儀表盤為一大一小的設(shè)計，冷色背光清晰易讀，同時該車全系標配大燈高度可調(diào)。  陽光的內(nèi)部空間是其一大賣點，身高180cm的體驗者坐在前排調(diào)整好座椅后，頭部會有超過一拳的距離。坐入后排頭部也有一拳左右的距離，而腿部空間則超過了兩拳，即使翹起二郎腿也不會有任何問題，相信這樣的表現(xiàn)完全可以滿足全家出行的需要。舒適版車型的后排座椅沒有中央扶手，同時后排座椅不能按比例放倒也比較令人遺憾。不過好在后備箱有足夠的深度，整個容積達到了490L，放入兩個大號的旅行箱應(yīng)該沒有問題。

       陽光的1.5L發(fā)動機采用每缸兩個噴油嘴的設(shè)計，可以使燃油得到更好的霧化，提高燃燒效率，同時該發(fā)動機還有進、排氣門可變正時技術(shù)。發(fā)動機的缸體和缸蓋均為全鋁材質(zhì)，降低了車身重量。根據(jù)工信部的油耗測試，陽光1.5L手動檔車型的百公里油耗為6.1L，而大多數(shù)車主的油耗水平也基本都在7L左右，可見陽光有著出色的燃油經(jīng)濟性。 陽光采用前麥弗遜，后扭力梁式的懸掛結(jié)構(gòu)，整體調(diào)校偏軟，在通過顛簸路段時，車身和懸掛有效地吸收了大部分震動。得益于發(fā)動機良好的平順性和靜音的特點，高速行駛時車內(nèi)的噪音抑制比較出色，保證了乘員的舒適性。
